Bio:
Prof. Stanislao Rizzo is Chair of the Ophthalmology Unit, Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS, Rome, Italy He is an innovator in his field, always eager to bring the best available technology in the OR. His main research activities include vitreoretinal surgeries, gene therapy, stem cells, retinal prostheses and technological innovations addressed to improve surgical outcomes.
